Hi, I'm Chrystal, a community manager and server admin who's spent years building and running online spaces, mostly centered around Discord. I handle the technical and organizational side of community infrastructure -- setting up servers, managing roles and permissions, navigating content policy, and keeping things running smoothly for large groups of people. Outside of community work, I'm a writer. I publish fanfiction under the handle Princess Columbia and I'm also working on an original serialized sci-fi story called Code of Ethics, set in a near-future world where cyber-espionage meets a virtual reality MMO. I'm also heavily invested in Star Trek: Fleet Command, where I'm active in alliance community management on top of just playing the game. I'm most comfortable in Discord and Tumblr, and I tend to approach tech from a "how do I make this work for my community" angle rather than a pure dev background -- but I'm always learning.
